13 years of clinical practice of whole some renal medicine TRANSPLANT • Association with more than 1000 Renal transplants including Case selection; Immunosuppression protocols & management of post transplant complications & follow up. • Independent kidney transplant about 5-8 per months in Indore for last 6 years including ABO incompatible and very high risk cross match positive transplant.(around 500 transplants done in last 6 years) DIALYSIS Hemodialysis • Case selection, Adequacy assessment and prescription, complication management. • Competence in vascular access procedures, permacath placement and management, Temporary vascular access procedures including Jugular, subclavian, femoral cannulation. Peritoneal Dialysis • Acute peritoneal catheterisation, prescription and management • CAPD patient Management OTHER EXPERTISE • Critical care nephrology, in particular management of acid base disorders and electrolyte imbalances. • Special interest in slow dialysis modalities.

Research and Publication
DNB TRAINING IN NEPHROLOGY (30/04/2010 TO 29/04/2013) I underwent my training in nephrology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, which is a 600 bedded JCI accredited hospital. The training comprised of postings in dialysis unit, renal and liver transplant unit, wards and outpatient departments. I was exposed to all variety of patients in renal medicine. The hospital also has approximately 125 I.C.U. beds and so I have experienced managing critical patients in I.C.U too. I am well versed with central vein catheterization and have done around 500 Internal Jugular catheterization and 1500 femoral vein catheterizations in the last 5 years. I am trained to perform USG guided kidney biopsy and Acute Peritoneal Dialysis catheter insertion. I am well versed with putting tunneled dialysis. Teaching Experience I undertook extensive bedside teaching of the postgraduates, house surgeons, interns, and the nursing staff during post graduate training. I also took practical training sessions in advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the fresh postgraduates. I was also actively involved in thesis of two post-graduates working in our unit. Teaching of DNB nephrology trainees in Artemis Health Institute.(14 months) Involved in teaching of DNB trainees of various specialities in Choithram Hospital Indore.
